This year, our choir performed for the first time at the "Primorska poje 2026" event, which is held under the motto of Srečko Kosovel's lyrics "Our singing is passionate, our strength is alive!"
On 20 February 2026, a delegation of the newly elected leadership of the Association of Slovenians "Triglav" Banja Luka, president of the Association Ivan Memon, vice president Olga Suvajac and member of the Executive Board of the Association Marija Petković, paid a protocol visit to the Consul of the Consular Office of the Republic of Slovenia in Banja Luka, Zvone Žigon, PhD.
On Monday, February 16, 2026, the premises of our Association were like a hive of activity, a large number of members, 25 of them, participated in the work of the culinary section.
On Saturday, February 14, 2026, in our Slovenian language class, we discussed a topic that is current in most of the world during these February days, which are carnivals or, as we call them in Slovenia, pustovanje, abbreviated as pust, which officially lasts from Shrove Thursday to Shrove Tuesday, when the peak of carnival masks, processions and overeating carnival delicacies, among which the carnival donut is certainly the most popular.
On February 14, 2026, on the premises of the Union of National Minorities of the Republic of Srpska, the working Electoral Assembly of the Association of Slovenians "Triglav" was held.
On Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11 a.m., on the premises of the Association of Slovenians "Triglav", we held a diverse cultural program on the occasion of Prešeren's Day - a Slovenian cultural holiday, which brought together a large number of students of Slovenian language classes and members of the Association.
Our Association participated in the EU project "Cultural Landscapes", held on 8 and 9 November 2025 in Novi Marof, Croatia.
As soon as we saw off the January holidays, the culinary section wasted no time and immediately got into action.
In a slightly different setting, with a Christmas tree made of gift boxes, the youngest members of the "Triglav" Association welcomed Santa Claus at the premises of the Pelagić Cultural and Artistic Association in Banja Luka.
