A gathering of students of Slovenian language classes was organised on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, 2026, by the Association of Slovenians Lipa Prijedor.

A nine-member delegation of the Association of Slovenians of the Republika Srpska "Triglav" Banja Luka participated in a two-day conference held as part of the EU project "EUNITY - European United Cities Creating and Nurturing the Desired European Future", which was held from 18 to 20 May 2026 in the picturesque towns of Kastoria and Siatisti, in northern Greece, in the province of Western Macedonia.

Exactly three years ago, a graft from the world's oldest city grapevine was planted in the Botanical Garden of the Institute for Genetic Resources in Banja Luka.

As part of the Banja Luka Spring 2026 event, and on the occasion of the City Day, on April 22, a concert of national minority choirs and folklore ensembles entitled Spring with National Minorities was held at the Youth Center in Banja Luka.

On March 31, 2026, a meeting was held with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to BiH, H.E. Damijan Sedar, and the presidents of Slovenian associations in BiH.

On March 31, 2026, in the City Hall of the Banski Dvor, our choir held a concert dedicated to marking a significant anniversary, 25 years of successful work of the Mixed Choir "Davorin Jenko".

In the period from March 25 to March 27, 2026, at the initiative and with the strong support of the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Damijan Sedar, students of Slovenian language and culture classes from BiH again visited one of the national symbols of Slovenia – Planica Nordic Centre.

On March 19, 2026, an exhibition dedicated to the prominent composer and conductor Davorin Jenko was opened in the exhibition space of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Banja Luka.

On Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7, 2026, we dedicated our Slovenian language classes to Women’s Day.

On 5 February 2026, the Slovenian government adopted a resolution establishing Slovenian Reading Day, which will be celebrated every year on 5 March as National Reading Day.
