On March 31, 2026, a meeting was held with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to BiH, H.E. Damijan Sedar, and the presidents of Slovenian associations in BiH.
The “Triglav” Association was represented at the meeting by president Ivan Memon and vice President Olga Suvajac.
The meeting was held in Banja Luka, in a good atmosphere, which was an excellent opportunity to present individual projects that the associations will work on during the year, as well as joint projects that are held in the associations on a rotational basis (a meeting of Slovenian choirs and a meeting of students of Slovenian language classes).
On that day, those present also attended the unveiling of a memorial plaque dedicated to Marjan Ristić, the then Consul of Slovenia in Banja Luka, who tragically died on March 29, 2022, during his daily walk. A commemorative plaque was placed in the immediate vicinity of the event, near the Venice Bridge, as a reminder to passers-by, as a sign of memory and farewell to Marjan.
