As part of a project dedicated to sustainability and cultural diversity, on 08.06.2026 Association “Triglav” organized a local workshop in Banja Luka entitled "Culture is Cool: Green Diversity (Eco-cultures)".
It was a dynamic program that brought together participants of all generations from different backgrounds. The goal was to encourage thinking about global environmental challenges and the role of communities in solving them through presentation, game, knowledge and simulation.
The day began with a presentation of the project and partners, followed by an activity during which groups represented different regions of the world and "sold" their traditional, eco-friendly sustainable practices.
After a short break, young participants competed in an environmental quiz, testing their knowledge of how climate change disproportionately affects different cultures and indigenous peoples around the world. The most exciting was the simulation of a meeting during which young people tried to find a compromise between environmental protection and the economic interests of their "countries".
The program concluded with an evaluation and exchange of impressions, with the message that creativity, cooperation and empathy are key tools in the fight for a sustainable future. One of the participants emphasized: “The most important thing is that we realized that solutions exist, but that we have to look for them together.”
