Under the organisation of Cultural Centre Banski dvor, Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia to BiH and Association of the Slovenians of the RS “Triglav” Banja Luka, an exhibition of drawings and embroidery on fibre by academic artist Saša Bezjak was organised on 2 October 2014.

It was the first time for the artist from Radgona to present her works in Banja Luka.

The exhibition was opened by consul of the Consular Office of the Republic of Slovenia in Banja Luka Branko Zupanc. He said the respect among and networking of artists of the Republic of Slovenia and abroad, this time Banja Luka, had increasing importance. Mr. Slobodan Vidović, representative of the Cultural Centre Banski dvor spoke about the author Saša Bezjak, her successful work to date and exhibited drawings depicting her everyday life, her sensibility, her vision of today.

Saša’s drawings and artistic embroidery of big formats with emphasised stitches sometimes following contours or filling in parts of something, containing drops which might be tears or blood or something else, allow the visitor to have personal experience of her drawings.

Exactly those different experiences that were commented among visitors after the exhibition at a cocktail accompanied by pleasant jazz music represent the best reviews.
