Students of the Supply Teaching Lessons of Slovenian also attended the opening of the exhibition „From Ancestors to Descendants – Slovenians in Slatina“ which took place in National and University Library in Ljubljana.

Exhibition „From Ancestors to Descendants – Slovenians in Slatina“, which is available in Plečnik's Hall of the NUK from 4 July to 30 August 2014, represents 25 Slovenian families, who lived or currently live in Slatina. In the 20s of the XX century, Slatina became a home for many Slovenian families. Author of the exhibition Vera Papež Adamič is a descendant of the first family of settlers that came to Slatina in 1924.

Speeches at the opening of the exhibition were given by Mateja Komel Snoj, director of the National and University Library, Gorazd Žmavc, Minister for Slovenians Abroad, Barbara Hanuš, teacher of Supply Teaching Lessons of Slovenian in Slatina and Vera Papež Adamič, author of the exhibition. Children attending Supply Teaching Lessons of Slovenian were dressed in national costumes and presented themselves by singing Slovenian folk songs. There were a lot of people at the opening of the exhibition including descendants of families presented at the exhibition. In addition to stories about Slovenian families, affecting the development of Slatina, nowadays image of the health place was also presented. The photographs showed illustrations of children pictures, including the illustration of a hayrack, because the Lunić family was the first in Slatina to erect a true Slovenian hayrack.
