In 2007 and 2008, the Board for Social and Humanitarian Issues of the Association Triglav conducted an action of visiting our elderly and ill members. Thus, last year we visited many Slovenian relatives, including those living in the Geriatrics Centre in Banja Luka.
Those visits were only the beginning of the planned activities which will continue in the future, because the pleasure is mutual. Elderly Slovenians were very happy to see that someone takes care of them. Young activists had an opportunity to talk to them and hear many interesting and rare stories about their ancestors, who came to Banja Luka and its surrounding area when they were children.
As active members of the Association Triglav we wish to show that we care for our elderly members and relatives, and we also want to get familiar with their position and help them as much as we can. That is why we would be grateful to all those who could help us with their proposals or participation in some of the actions of the Board for Social and Humanitarian Issues, which became one of the regular activities of our Association.
