International literary evenings Banja Luka Poetry Evenings “ATLAS EVROPSKE LIRIKE” were opened on 13 May in the National and University Library of Republic of Srpska presenting Slovenian poetry.

On Tuesday, 3 May 2016, choir “Davorin Jenko” of the Association of Slovenians “Triglav” Banja Luka performed as guests at the concert of Zdravko Ćosić’s ensemble “Veče uz prim”.

Ljubljana is often a destination of trips by members of the Association of Slovenians Triglav, however on this excursion almost everyone saw and learned something new.
On the first day of excursion, Sunday, April 24, we visited the Technical Museum of Slovenia located in the then Carthusian monastery in Bistra near Vrhnika.

Attendees of the supply teaching lessons of Slovenian connected with students of Grammar School Ledina of Ljubljana. In April we visited them and they will come to Banja Luka in November.

Thirteen pupils of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian socialised with their peers from the Elementary School Zgornji Kašelj during the excursion. They attended the lessons, and in the afternoon they got familiar with everyday lives of Slovenian pupils.

Novo mesto and Banja Luka high school principals gathered in Banja Luka on 18 March 2016.

On Friday, 26 February 2016, numerous audience enjoyed the concert of Duo Ponte in the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka.

On the occasion of marking the Slovenian cultural holiday the Prešeren’s Day, a successful literary evening of Slovenian-Serbian poetry was held in the Cultural Centre Banski dvor, on 12 February 2016. Organisers of the evening, Association of Slovenians Triglav Banja Luka, Association of Writers of the Republic of Srpska and Cultural Centre Banski dvor, managed this time to host quite a number of audience at such an event.
